Tender description
Experience is a project that promotes Cornwall as a year-round destination. The project team at Cornwall Council is seeking to appoint a freelancer to manage the destination marketing for the Experience programme. The project started as the ERDF funded EXPERIENCE project in West Cornwall (2019-2023) and has been operating as Experience Newquay since 2023, with SPF funding. In 2025/26, the project will continue in Newquay and work will start in Bodmin. The appointed freelancer will support the in-house team on the marketing aspects of the Experience project. This will include convening and supporting the existing Newquay marketing group, promoting key events in Newquay in autumn/winter 2025, developing a marketing plan for Bodmin and bringing together the main local attractions/businesses to form a new marketing group
