About the buyer

Scottish Police Authority is the national policing body for Scotland, a blue light authority that is the contracting authority for itself and Police Scotland. Police Scotland carries out the day-to-day procurement function on the Authority's behalf. A Procurement Strategy is published every three years under the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, with an annual report alongside it. The Resources Committee gives the Board oversight of contracts and capital investment plans.

Over the past 5 years, most of the Scottish Police Authority's contract awards have been in transport equipment, architectural and engineering services and IT services.
