Tender description
Waterways Ireland require a high-quality, cost-effective eLearning platform for our employees to access. We require a variety of training/courses that will keep our staff engaged and upskilled, in a range of mandatory and non-mandatory subject areas. The content must be high-quality and tailored to meet the legal and regulatory requirements in both our jurisdictions of operation, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Waterways Ireland is a cross-border body and the largest of the six North/South Implementation Bodies. The British-Irish Agreement of 1998 established the body. The Shannon Navigation, Grand Canal, Royal Canal, Barrow Navigation, Erne System and Lower Bann Navigation sit within that remit. The North South Ministerial Council sets policy direction, and a Chief Executive runs the body in place of a board.
