Film production for Qatar Digital Library

About the buyer

British Library is the national library of the UK, a charity, and buys as one of government's agencies and non-departmental public bodies. Contract notices are published on Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, the government's central procurement portals. Larger framework tenders, such as its conservation and binding arrangement, run through the Delta eSourcing portal. That framework appoints between one and six suppliers across separate lots for different services. Recent notices have covered a Future Web Programme contract for its digital services. British Library Publishing has separately tendered for sales representation covering London and the South East.

Procurement spend from central entities makes up 66% of overall UK public spend.

Over the past 5 years, most of British Library's contract awards have been in business services, recreation, culture and sport and IT services.
