Tender description
Lincolnshire County Council is inviting tenders to establish a contract for the provision of Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation services in Lincolnshire. The contract specifically pertains to the provision of domestic abuse specialist support. The Supplier will be responsible for sourcing, managing and maintaining the accommodation in which the support will be delivered, and for providing the associated support. The Council is flexible in the Supplier’s approach to gain and maintain suitable accommodation so that they can undertake the requirements of the contract, as long as there is sufficient availability of service and accommodation throughout Lincolnshire and the accommodation meets the definition of safe accommodation within the Domestic Abuse Act (2021). The Council will not be responsible for the funding of accommodation settings in which support is provided as part of this contract. Lot 1: Lincolnshire County Council is inviting tenders to establish a contract for the provision of Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation services in Lincolnshire. The Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Service is aligned to three core principle aims: - Protection - ensuring that all victims of domestic abuse are able to access safe, timely, appropriate, non-judgemental and supportive safe accommodation; - Intervention - empowering victims to re-build their lives, maintain independent living for themselves and their children; and - Recovery - to be future focused, increasing resilience, confidence, and skills to rebuild victims’ lives, so they are free from abuse. The Supplier will be responsible for sourcing, managing and maintaining the accommodation in which the support will be delivered, and for providing the associated support. The funding for the accommodation elements does not fall within the budget scope for this service and will be sourced externally, by the Supplier, through Housing Benefit.
