Tender description

Cheadle Eco Business Park is a proposed scheme on Bird Hall Lane in Cheadle which will see an underutilised, 7-acre, Council owned site be redeveloped into an exemplar, carbon efficient, sustainable 110,000sqft industrial development. Lot 1: Mini-competition via Procurement Partnerships Framework (PPF) Eight suitable, local suppliers available via the framework, already vetted. This lowers the risks associated with this value of procurement and should speed up the process comparable to an open procurement. Benefits of Option: • Fast route to market – as quick as six weeks to procure a compliant contractor • EU compliant • Free for clients to use • Several prelims are fixed from tender • Wide range of competent contractors • Use of standard contract (e.g. JCT, PSPC, NEC3) A two stage process with a PCSA in stage one.
