Tender description

Outdoor Pig Farm Detection Project is an innovative initiative designed to enhance agricultural compliance using advanced Earth Observation (EO) technologies. By harnessing high-resolution LiDAR and Sentinel-2 satellite data, the project aims to identify outdoor pig farms using deep learning AI models and evaluate the environmental risks linked to their operations. Building on preliminary work that produced Outdoor pig farm detection layers for select counties in England, this contract seeks to expand these efforts nationwide based on similar methodology and dataset.
