About the buyer
Cambridgeshire County Council buys as a local authority for Cambridgeshire, with a dedicated procurement and commercial team supporting suppliers. The children's commissioning team runs dynamic purchasing systems for external placements, home and community support and supported accommodation for young people. A separate dynamic purchasing system covers education and social care transport, from minibuses to taxis.
Health related contracts are commissioned through the Provider Selection Regime instead.
Over the past 5 years, most of Cambridgeshire County Council's contract awards have been in health and social work, construction work and IT services.
