Higher-value contracts appear on Find a Tender, with Contracts Finder used for smaller opportunities. A dedicated opportunities page lists larger upcoming work on a periodic basis. Rail-related work can be sourced through RISQS, the rail industry supplier qualification scheme, without a published tender notice.
UK local government drives £140bn in annual procurement, led by social protection (£66.6bn) and education (£57.1bn).
Over the past 5 years, most of Transport for London's contract awards have been in transport services, business services and repair and maintenance.
