About the buyer

Citizens Information Board is Ireland's statutory agency for citizen information, advice and advocacy services on public and social supports, and it procures through its own tender competitions. Three acts set its statutory basis, including the Citizens Information Act 2007. The board funds the Money Advice and Budgeting Service, a nationwide, confidential debt advice network. Citizens Information Centres and a national phone service also operate under its remit.

Over the past 5 years, most of Citizens Information Board's contract awards have been in communications equipment, repair and maintenance and electrical equipment and lighting.
