The Provision of Consultancy to Undertake a Housing and Homelessness Strategy

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council requires a new Housing and Homelessness Strategy to enable the Council to shape its housing provision and guide its progress. This scoping document outlines the key considerations, objectives and scope required for our approach to BGs housing issues. This information will serve as the foundation for the development of a comprehensive housing strategy. The commission will be to take the scoping document and produce a final Housing and Homelessness Strategy for Blaenau Gwent for the next 5 years with the opportunity for a possible refresh in year 3 if required. The strategy vision is to maximise housing options to provide adequate, affordable and safe housing that meets the needs for the BG communities. To improve the energy efficiency of housing stock.
