Tender description
Torbay Council has commissioned a Training Provider with experience in leadership and management at a strategic level and considerable understanding of the Children’s Services context. In Torbay Children’s Services we actively promote staff development and internal promotion. Through our succession planning we have identified a gap in training provision for Social Care experienced team managers preparing to take the next step into becoming service managers and service managers new into post. The training provider will develop and deliver a leadership and management programme Face-to-Face over a 6-month period to deliver knowledge, skills, and confidence in becoming an empowering strategic leader. The training will be targeted towards Children’s Services Team Managers who are aspiring to become Service Managers, or new Service Managers.
