Tender description
Lot 1: Defra is the lead body on the INSPIRE Directive (for further information on INSPIRE please visit: https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/about-inspire/563). The department is the lead publisher of open data in government, having released over 8000 datasets in 2016 under an Open Government Licence (OGL). As an evidence-led department, a substantial amount of environmental data is collected by Defra, with a wealth of uses.
