Supplier Event for Unpaid Carers Support Services

Swansea Council is hosting a market engagement event for organisations interested in delivering Unpaid Carers’ Support services. Date/time: 5th December 2023 at 10:00 – 11:30am LOCATION: Virtual (MS Teams) Lot 1: About the event:- Swansea Council has a contract for the delivery of Unpaid Carers Support services in Swansea. An unpaid carer is ‘A person who provides or intends to provide care for an adult or disabled child’. The contract for the unpaid carers support services is coming to an end shortly. The Council would therefore like to invite existing and potential providers of unpaid carers support service to take part in our virtual market engagement event. The Council is seeking to award a contract to an organisation that can provide unpaid carers support services across Swansea. The purpose of this event will be: - To share the views of unpaid carers that the Council has collated and how their views has shaped its plans. - To outline our potential commissioning model - Provide information on the next steps and timescales Swansea Council would like to invite providers of unpaid carers support services with relevant experience to register for the market engagement event. Registration Details: - The event will be held on 5th December 2023, 10:00 – 11:30am. - Please register your interest by emailing Jeanette.munn@swansea.gov.uk by 29th November 2023 to enable a TEAM’s invite link to be sent to you. This event will be delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams and we recommend that you join via a laptop/desktop so that it will be easier for you to type and use chat functionality.
