Est Maintenance: Provision of Electrical Reactive, Planned Maintenance and Small Works Refurbishment Contract - North Cork North Lee incl Mallow General Hospital

HSE Southern Capital and Estates will appoint a Competent Electrical Contractor to Cork North North Lee Incl Mallow General Hospital, to provide emergency call out services, planned and reactive maintenance service and small works projects for all Health Care facilities within Kerry County The Contracting Authority intends to enter into a Term Maintenance Contract with the Tenderer which is successful in the competition for the respective area. Reporting to the Capital and Estates Office for Cork North North Lee Incl Mallow General Hospital, the selected Contractor will provide a general electrical maintenance service for all HSE Health Care Facilities within Kerry County. The service will include the maintenance of electrical plant, equipment and services, as directed by the Capital and Estates Department. It will be necessary to carry out works in conjunction with other contractors (Electrical, Mechanical, building etc.), when appropriate, as part of the response maintenance and planned Maintenance programme and especially for minor works involving alterations to buildings. The HSE cannot guarantee the numbers of personnel required at any one time or what work load will be. The Contractor shall provide a complete Electrical Services maintenance service, with embedded principles of high-quality maintenance and energy management. The objectives of the HSE Capital and Estates Dept for implementation by the Contractor are; Ensure that the HSE’s responsibilities under relevant statutory legislation and recommended guidelines are fully satisfied. Ensuring that the electrical services in all HSE Health Care buildings continue to function reliably, are effective and operate to optimal efficiency. Ensure the health, safety and comfort of occupants of the buildings. Ensure energy efficiencies and energy reduction are core principles of maintenance. Maintain and protect the value of the electrical services assets and enhance the value of the investments made in HSE Health Care buildings and its equipment.
