Tender description
This is a service concession The estimated income to the council is £16,800 (ex VAT) per annum (sink fund). The total value of this contracts initial 36 month term is £170,000.00 (ex VAT) VAT does not apply to this contract There is 1 extension available as follows: Optional extension 1 value is £250,000.00 (ex VAT) The total potential contract value exclusive of VAT is £420,000.00 (including all extension options) VAT does not apply to this contract The Concessionaire is required to operate the Councils tennis courts in the parks and complete routine maintenance. BANES will complete the ‘major repair’ works related to the court surface. The Concessionaire will provide for the sinking fund for the eventual replacement of the tennis court surfaces. Locations are as follows: Alice Park: • Location – Gloucester Road, Bath. BA1 7BL • 6 tennis courts refurbished by 31st March 2021 Keynsham Memorial Park: • Location – Bath Hill, Keynsham. BS31 1HL • 4 tennis courts refurbished by 31st March 2021 Sydney Gardens: • Location – Sydney Pl, Bathwick, Bath BA2 4DB • 4 tennis courts - 2 upper courts refurbished by 31st March 2021, the 2 lower courts refurbished by September 2021
