Tender description
This procurement exercise is for the implementation of a Framework Agreement for the delivery of Civil Engineering Works valued at no more than £50,000 on behalf of Durham County Council. The main users of the Framework Agreement will be Technical Services, Highway Services Department however the Framework will be available for use by Durham County Council. Additional information: Scope of the Project The proposed Framework Agreement includes, but is not limited to, the provision of general civil engineering works which could range from:- • Minor kerb patching and flag repairs • Flood alleviation and drainage schemes • Bridges and structural works • Road and footpath repair and reinstatement works • New highway construction schemes • Construction of footpaths & cycleways • Construction of roundabouts on existing highways • Alterations, signalling or widening of existing highways • Road safety engineering schemes • All the above could include kerbing, replacement of gullies, installation of new drainage, paving works using blocks or flags, fencing, wooden and metal, brickwork and general civil operations.
