Lancashire Constabulary is a blue light police force that buys through a Procurement team inside its Finance and Procurement department. Tenders are advertised on the Bluelight e-tendering portal, where suppliers register free to download documents. The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire issues tenders on behalf of the Constabulary. Both bodies buy under a Joint Procurement Strategy that promotes the local economy where practicable.
