Description

The site is located on the R280 regional road in the Townland of Loughmuirran, Glenade, Co. Leitrim and is 13km Northwest of Manorhamilton and 8.2km Southwest of Kinlough Village. The existing southern edge of the road is unsupported with the road edge leading down into a steep valley. The Project is to widen the verge, strengthen the road embankment and pavement and the provision of a VRS along the outside of a bend. This section of road is located along a steep slope and is presenting structural cracks associated with movement on the slope side.
