Description

The National Transport Authority (the “Authority”) wishes to invite interested parties to partake in a market consultation exercise concerning the area of Shared Micromobility. This is not a call for competition. The Authority is seeking to commence procurement of a national framework for Shared Micromobility operators. The framework will enable procurement/s of operator/operators to supply and operate shared micromobility scheme/s in urban areas including the option for the shared use of bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters and e-cargo bikes. The Authority is therefore particularly interested in hearing from parties that have recent experience in the supply and operation of shared micromobility schemes, both in Ireland and other European countries including shared bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters and e-cargo bikes. The Authority strongly encourages potential suppliers to put forward any innovative ideas and suggestions pertinent to this consultation, as this is the opportune time to provide feedback. Consequently, the Authority wishes to invite interested parties to partake in this market consultation exercise. This is not a call for competition. The Authority wishes to engage in a technical dialogue, (termed “market consultation”) with shared micromobility operators and commercial representatives of the interested companies who have relevant experience in the provision and/or operation of the same.
