The South Tackling social isolation and loneliness fund is a new fund established by the South Area Council to tackle social isolation and loneliness for over 50's, addressing the continued need for skilled one to one intervention support and providing opportunities for the community and voluntary sector to deliver activities and events supporting vulnerable people residing in the South Area Council area. The grant fund is designed to directly contribute to the South Area Council priorities of 'Health and wellbeing for all', 'Access to local information and advice' and 'Improving the local economy'.
