Provision of Employee Counselling Services In order to provide counselling to its staff Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to appoint a specialist counselling provider (the Supplier) to provide a range of counselling interventions. The purpose of the service provision is to: Undertake initial assessment of employees, following referral or self-referral, to determine the most appropriate course of action. Provide any necessary counselling interventions. Provide advice to the council with respect to the wellbeing of council employees. The supplier will provide face-to-face and virtual counselling session (whichever the employee prefers) to employees of the council (or other organisations to whom the Council provides occupational health services such as some schools/academies)
