About the buyer

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is a local authority in the west of Northern Ireland with its own procurement team. The council also lists current opportunities directly on its own tenders page. Larger contracts go to public Tender, and smaller-value work is sourced through quotations from a shortlist of suppliers. Term contracts cover recurring work such as grounds maintenance and fallen animal collection without a fresh tender each time.

Over the past 5 years, most of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council's contract awards have been in financial and insurance services and waste, cleaning and environmental services.
