North Ayrshire Council's Property Management & Investment service requires the appointment of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the construction of the proposed Bourtreehill Retail Development, Irvine. The project will deliver new retail accommodation and associated external works in accordance with the design, specifications, drawings and Bills of Quantities provided within the tender documentation. Works will be undertaken at Crofthead, Bourtreehill, Irvine, KA11 1NF Lot 1: Construction of Retail Units - bulk earthworks - substructure (foundations, ground floor slab, drainage etc.) - steel frame structure - external envelope (roofing, cladding, facing brickwork, curtain walling etc.) - external doors - internal doors - internal finishes (finishing joinery plasterworks, decoration etc.) - mechanical and electrical installations - associated external works (earthworks, roads, paths, soft landscaping, drainage, external services etc.) Demolition Works - demolition of existing "men's shed" - utilities disconnections - site clearance works The terms and conditions applicable to this procurement SBCC Standard Building Contract with Quantities for use in Scotland – SBC/Q/Scot (2016 Edition), subject to the amendments SBCC Amendment 1 (February 2018): Contract (Third Party Rights) (Scotland) Act 2017. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
