Tender description

Lot 1: Direct Award A-the provider is a NHS Trust, providing acute health care services including, but not limited to, Commissioner Requested Services (CRS) / Essential Services and specialised services. The provider is the only provider capable of delivering the services due to the nature of those health care services. The provider also provides community services in Tower Hamlets. This contract modification relates to the incorporation of Barts Tower Hamlets Community Health Services (CHS) into the existing Barts Health Acute Services Contract following the expiry of the existing CHS contract. The modification is intended to ensure continuity of service provision and includes a range of children's and adult community health services, including community nursing, therapies, audiology, sexual and reproductive health, diabetes, respiratory, cardiac, neurological, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, dietetic and health psychology services. The initial contract term is three years, from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028, with provision for a further one-year extension. The modification does not change the existing term of the contract. The original lifetime contract value was £6,946,208,220. Following the modification, the revised lifetime contract value is stated as £7,497,470,303. The modification relates to the period of 1st October 2026-31st March 2028.
