About the buyer

Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) is the statutory body that runs and promotes Irish horseracing under the Irish Horseracing Industry Act 1994. HRI buys through single-party and multi-party framework agreements. HRI is based at The Curragh. Frameworks serve HRI and its subsidiaries. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board may use some of them. Starting stalls and catering equipment were bought this way. Racecards are printed for Cork, Navan and Tipperary courses. One stationery framework scored bids on cost and quality.

Over the past 5 years, most of HRI's contract awards have been in architectural and engineering services.
