About the buyer

Waste and Resources Action Programme is a UK-registered charity that buys as a central body, funded chiefly by Defra. Established in 2000, the programme operates as a company limited by guarantee. Devolved-nation funders include the Welsh Government, Zero Waste Scotland and the Northern Ireland Executive. Every tender must be submitted through Delta rather than sent directly to the programme. Over the past 5 years, most of Waste and Resources Action Programme's contract awards have been in business services, waste, cleaning and environmental services and architectural and engineering services.
