Tender description
DHSC has committed to rolling out a domestic abuse and sexual violence referral service across ICBs called ‘Steps to Safety’ from April 2026. Steps to Safety aims to give general practice staff the tools and ability to identify and refer victims and survivors into support services, starting in April 2026 and with a goal of national provision of the service by 2029. To support the effective delivery of the programme it seeks to secure funding for an independent evaluation of Steps to Safety. This evaluation will assess both the implementation and the impact of the programme
