Tender description
Angus Council has awarded a call-off contract under the Scotland Excel Treatment of Organic Waste Services Framework (0220), Lot 1 – Food Waste, for the treatment and processing of food waste at the Earnside Energy anaerobic digestion facility in Glenfarg. The contract will run for an initial period of 24 months, with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months. Lot 1: Angus Council has undertaken a direct award under the Scotland Excel Treatment of Organic Waste Services Framework (0220), Lot 1 – Food Waste. The contract covers the treatment and processing of food waste collected by Angus Council at the Earnside Energy anaerobic digestion facility in Glenfarg. The contract will commence on 01 November 2026 for an initial period of 24 months, with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months at Angus Council's sole discretion. Actual expenditure will depend on the quantity of food waste processed and the applicable framework rates.
