Design, Supply and Installation of Level Access Showers and Wash/Dry Toilets

Tender description

The Home Improvement Service in Adult Services currently uses a framework arrangement for the design supply and installation of level access showers and wash/dry showers. These are provided under the statutory provision of Disabled Facility Grants which are intended to maximise the independence of recipients. The current framework arrangements expired on 17 November 2025. There have been ongoing discussions between procurement and the DFG team since 09/07/2025, however a realignment of procurement arrangements led to a review of the proposals to proceed with the procurement of a framework solely for design, supply and installation of level access showers and wash dry toilets and the need to consider a category management approach. This appointment is to use the 6 named suppliers contracted whilst the merits of category management are explored, a cabinet report is written, and the resulting procurement exercise is conducted. ## Contract award
