Supply of Reconfigurable Servo Controllers for Precision Measurement, Photonics and Quantum Technologies Research

Tender description

Requires the supply and delivery of reconfigurable servo controller units to support advanced scientific research, precision measurement, photonics, quantum technologies, and frequency stabilisation applications. The requirement comprises fifteen reconfigurable servo controllers incorporating full PIID (Proportional-Integral-Integral-Derivative) loop filter capability with a bandwidth of up to 10 MHz. The units include functionality such as internal ramp generation, auxiliary servo channels for long-term drift and piezoelectric transducer (PZT) control, automatic relock capability, and servo signal offset control. The equipment will be utilised within NPL's research and metrology laboratories to provide high-speed feedback, control, and stabilisation of lasers, optical systems, frequency references, and other precision measurement instrumentation. The solution is intended to support the development of national measurement standards, quantum technology programmes, and advanced experimental research activities. The contract includes supply, delivery, transport and customs handling, warranty support, technical documentation, and associated manufacturer support services necessary for successful deployment and operation of the equipment. ## Contract award
