Project / Service Description: Provision of managed service and operational management support services, including strategic procurement and category management expertise across key service areas. The scope of support includes: • Category management support within the Health & Care portfolio, providing market intelligence, sourcing strategies, demand management, contract optimisation, and stakeholder engagement to deliver value for money and service improvements. • Procurement management support for complex and strategic procurements within Health & Care and Infrastructure & Environment service areas, including end-to-end management of procurement exercises, development of procurement strategies, tender documentation, evaluation processes, contract award activities, and compliance with relevant procurement legislation and internal governance requirements. • Strategic procurement advice and guidance to senior stakeholders on procurement planning, commissioning approaches, market engagement, commercial risk management, contract management, social value delivery, and continuous improvement opportunities. • Operational management support to ensure effective delivery of procurement services, resource management, performance monitoring, governance compliance, and implementation of best practice procurement and commercial processes. • Specialist advisory support in relation to procurement transformation, policy development, category strategies, service reviews, and the delivery of organisational objectives through effective commercial and procurement practices. This support is intended to provide both operational capacity and strategic expertise, ensuring effective procurement delivery, robust governance, and improved commercial outcomes across the organisation.
