Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Professional Term Service Contract

Tender description

1.1 The Consultant will provide the services required which comprise the provision of Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering Services. It is anticipated that the Consultant will need to respond in a timely manner to provide named Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering support for a wide range of requirements, from providing ad hoc guidance up to and including providing a named officer to act as the Mechanical and/or Electrical Design Lead on projects being delivered by the Employer. The Consultant should be prepared to work anywhere within the East Riding of Yorkshire, and in the case that the Employer is asked to deliver professional design services for other organisations the Consultant may be asked to work in other regions beyond the East Riding of Yorkshire. Projects to be worked on are anticipated to be line with those typically delivered by local authorities, such as schools, social housing, leisure centres, multiple purpose facilities (such as those encompassing functions such as customer service centres and libraries), or any projects considered necessary and to a lesser degree such as industrial buildings and corporate buildings such as offices and commercial accommodation, etc. Generally, contracts with contractors will be from the NEC family of contracts.
