Renfrewshire Council are publishing this market engagement notice to gain useful insight and feedback from suppliers of sheltered housing call/alarm services. The transition to a fully digital telecare platform presents an opportunity to modernise sheltered housing call/alarm services, enhance resident safety, improve operational efficiency, strengthen resilience, and ensure compliance with the UK's Digital Switchover programme while supporting the future integration of wider housing, health, and wellbeing technologies. Our service supports tenants to live independently and safely within their own homes for longer. The new Call System must therefore support the promotion of choice, control and dignity by enabling tenants to access support when required, whilst reducing unnecessary interventions and maintaining confidence that assistance is available when needed.
