Tender description

Procurement of continued access to a curated literature based clinical database of germline human genomic variants database which enables clinicians and scientists in the NHS GMS to interpret Cancer and Rare Disease test results for patients. This is procurement of a clinical use database license. The current service is provided by Qiagen Ltd through a Human-Gene Mutation Database (HGMD) and expires on 31/12/2026 through BC-27739. Previous business cases are: BC-20504 and BC-10994. All previous cases were agreed and categorised under Clinical and Medical due to the clinical nature of the requirement.
