Quick Quote - Provision of Legal Translation Services for the International Cooperation and Asset Recovery Team (ICART)

Tender description

Please find attached documentation for a quick quote competition to provide Translation Services to the Attorney Generals Chambers to be carried out for a two year contract.<br /><br />The International Cooperation and Asset Recovery Team (ICART) forms part of the Attorney General's Chambers and is responsible for international legal cooperation on behalf of the Isle of Man. ICART prepares, transmits, receives and processes requests for mutual legal assistance, asset recovery, evidence gathering, restraint and confiscation, extradition-related matters and other forms of international judicial cooperation with jurisdictions throughout the world.<br /><br />To support these functions, ICART requires access to a professional translation service capable of translating highly sensitive legal documentation to and from a range of international languages. Documents may include statutory provisions, legislation, court documents, judicial orders, evidential material, correspondence between competent authorities and other documents requiring precise legal terminology and interpretation.<br /><br />An on-Island provider is preferred, as translated documents are required in hard copy with the translator’s wet signature and authentication. <br /><br />The attached documentation consists of:<br />- The Quick Quote Request Document<br /><br /><br />The Quick Quote will remain available on the Portal for Expressions of Interest until noon (12.00 hrs) on 10th September 2026 and the deadline for submissions is noon (12.00 hrs) on 18th September 2026 and your response must be submitted through the portal by this deadline. <br /><br />Once you have selected `Express Interest` a `Quote Documents` tab will appear and this is where you will find the above mentioned documents.<br /><br />After the above deadline the Portal will `Lock-Out` and no further submissions can be made.<br /><br />If your organisation does not wish to submit a response to provide these services, please select `Opt-Out` and select a reason. You can also choose to stop receiving correspondence on this screen.<br /><br />Please note, unless otherwise advised, all Quick Quote Competitions will be subject to the Isle of Man Government Standard Terms & Conditions for Goods and/or Services, a copy of which can be found under the `Supplier Information & Privacy Policies` tab.<br />
