About the buyer
Weston super Mare Town Council is a parish council that manages public spaces including Grove Park, Ashcombe Park, Clarence Park and Uphill. Contracts are managed by a small in-house team rather than a dedicated central procurement function. Smaller works go through an Expressions of Interest stage before formal tenders are issued. Contractors must show a clean health and safety record and pay the Real Living Wage.
Over the past 5 years, most of Weston super Mare Town Council's contract awards have been in sports, games and art supplies, construction work and waste, cleaning and environmental services.
