Waterways Ireland wish to invite quotes for taking water samples at various locations on our navigations and testing these samples.

About the buyer
Waterways Ireland is a cross-border body and the largest of the six North/South Implementation Bodies. The British-Irish Agreement of 1998 established the body. The Shannon Navigation, Grand Canal, Royal Canal, Barrow Navigation, Erne System and Lower Bann Navigation sit within that remit. The North South Ministerial Council sets policy direction, and a Chief Executive runs the body in place of a board. The 2022 annual report notes that fewer suppliers and contractors are bidding for its tenders.
