The programme reflects the co-design of communities to use looking backwards to move forward and is in keeping with themes of PEACEPLUS Programme. The Project will act as a catalyst for dialogue, understanding, and positive change, leveraging history, heritage, folklore and legends to understand the diverse narratives that shape communities in Sligo County and the wider PEACEPLUS region. The project is part of an integrated programme of actions aimed at promoting a peaceful and prosperous society. Shore2Shore will facilitate participants from diverse communities to offer a window into their experiences and understanding of the past, while challenging them to consider a different perspective and their own world view.
