About the buyer
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service is the blue light fire and rescue authority for Devon and Somerset, with its own procurement team based in Exeter. The Service leads a National Fire Chiefs Council framework for emergency response vehicles, open to fire and rescue authorities across the UK. Small and medium-sized suppliers are particularly encouraged to bid. Larger equipment purchases run through the NFCC Procurement Hub's collaborative agreements.
Over the past 5 years, most of Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service's contract awards have been in transport equipment, software and information systems and postal and telecoms services.
