About the buyer
NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (GM ICB) commissions NHS and social care services across Greater Manchester as an NHS integrated care board. The board was established on 1 July 2022 in place of ten former clinical commissioning groups. Ten localities, each matching a Greater Manchester borough, hold delegated commissioning arrangements at place level. Greater Manchester's NHS and council partners set shared commissioning priorities through a Joint Forward Plan. A locality board, led by a place-based lead, oversees decisions in each area.
Over the past 5 years, most of GM ICB's contract awards have been in health and social work.
