Tender description
This is a Calling Notice only and not a tendering opportunity. The Royal Navy's Develop Directorate will host an online Industry Engagement event on 14 May 2025 (1330-1530) The Naval Strike Network (now Strike Net) programme was launched in 2022 with a remit to deliver the common data standards and architecture to enable rapid and effective integration of uncrewed assets e.g. UAVs into the maritime deployed domain where operations are often as part of a multi-national force. In 2024 the programme's remit expanded to include the communications and software architecture to enable effective integration and delivery of effect across crewed and uncrewed platforms in a hybrid multi-national environment. As such Strike Net is at the heart of many future capabilities that are being developed in multiple operating domains. Designed for deployed operations in a contested and congested environment it has three main capability themes: - Communications bearers and management. - Peer to peer data sharing to enable third party exploitation. - Uncrewed Vehicle integration. This event is the continuation of previous industry engagements and comes as the Strike Net Design Authority is being stood up and the programme matures from concept phase towards delivery of a minimum deployable capability. It will not only provide an update on the programme status, its context within the future navy and forthcoming opportunities but also will include time for Q and A from interested partners. To register to attend please complete the sign-up form within the attached document no later than 17:00 on 7th April 2025. If you are selected to attend the event, you will receive an email confirmation along with a link to the virtual event. Please note that this confirmation may be sent a few weeks after the submission deadline.
