Con 897 - Qualification System For Trenching and Ducting Works in the Republic of Ireland

ESB proposes to establish a Qualification System under a negotiated procedure for Trenching and Ducting Works in the Republic of Ireland. It is envisaged that the scope of works to be procured under this Qualification System will be as outlined in the Section A Information Memorandum attached to this publication. Works will be split into two (2) categories of work associated with Trenching and Ducting Works in the Republic of Ireland Category 01 – Trenching and ducting works greater than 1.5km in route length or with an ESBN estimated project value of one million euro or greater. Category 02 – Trenching and ducting works less than 1.5km in route length. Economic Operators who wish to participate in this qualification system process should submit a response as set out in the Information Memorandum on eTenders - D20/CON/897 - Qualification System for Trenching and Ducting Works in the Republic of Ireland. While applications may be made to join The Qualification System at any time, those interested in being considered for the first envisaged frameworks (the “First Procurements”), which are multi-contractor national framework agreements for category 01 and category 02 trenching and ducting works must submit complete QSQ Responses on or before 12:00hrs (local time on 22nd March 2024 the “First Procurements Closing Date”). At the date of issuing of this QSQ it is envisaged that national framework agreements for category 01 and category 02 works will be awarded for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend, at the direction of ESB, for up to five (5) further years.
