Tender description

The key element of the project is the provision of enclosed spaces that will provide a calming and stimulating environment that is particularly effective for self-regulation of children and young adults with complex learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional communication needs. The spaces will provide safe sensory zones that will also work as emotionally intelligent workspace for individuals in a protective environment that will lower anxiety levels. A range of options will contain inclusive sensory technology to support different situations and needs. - x1 Large wheelchair accessible pod, x1 Large pod (for minimum of 4 people), x8 Small pods (for minimum of 2 people). - The equipment should be installed in the identified venues and ensure that handbooks, user guides, staff information awareness and warranty are included. - The successful bidder will need to measure the space and check it is suitable for the pod to be positioned, provide design options, construct, install and demonstrate how to use.
