About the buyer

NHS Wales - Shared Services Partnership is hosted by Velindre NHS Trust and buys as a healthcare body for every health board and trust in Wales through its Procurement Services division. Frameworks cover capital equipment, pharmaceuticals, clinical supplies, food, utilities, maintenance, IT and the commissioning of healthcare services. Local procurement teams work with each health board alongside sourcing, supply chain and accounts payable teams. Where appropriate, tenders are split into smaller lots so SMEs can bid.
