About the buyer
The Office of Public Works (OPW) manages Ireland's state property, heritage sites and flood defences as a government office with its own procurement function. Framework contracts cover recurring work, including a current multiparty framework for fit-out and refurbishment design and construction. Tenders often form part of a larger capital project, such as acquiring or fitting out a building. Public procurement guidelines, regulations and directives govern how OPW buys.
Over the past 5 years, most of OPW's contract awards have been in architectural and engineering services, construction work and business services.
