Tender description
A Refurbishment Survey was carried out at Specified areas of 156 - 158 Kensal Road, London, W10 5BN on the 14/06/2024 - 14/06/2024 The purpose of the survey was to identify, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect asbestos containing materials (ACMs) in the areas inspected and assess their condition. Refurbishment survey information was requested for this building. This type of survey is intrusive and may involve destructive inspection, as necessary, to gain access to potentially hidden asbestos within the building fabric. The level of intrusion necessary was defined in the scope of works for this project. Changes to the scope of work identified in this report may necessitate further inspection and sampling. Destructive inspection was only carried out in areas which would be disturbed for this project. ACMs may still be hidden within the building fabric. Construction/down taking plans appended to this report indicate the areas surveyed within this building. This report was published on 17/06/2024. Updated information may be present on the asbestos management system which should be checked Additional information: opportunity posted via CapitalEsourcing Portal

About the buyer
capitalEsourcing is the eSourcing and contract management portal of Westminster City Council, a local government organisation. Suppliers must first register on the portal before they can contract with the council. Registration opens up every advertised opportunity, from a low-value request for quotes to a high-value invitation to tender. The portal itself runs on Jaggaer, and the solution provider gives suppliers technical support. Notices that the council publishes on Find a Tender link suppliers back to capitalEsourcing to place a bid. The procurement team, contract managers and suppliers run live contracts in the same system, with deadline alerts and KPI scorecards.
UK local government drives £140bn in annual procurement, led by social protection (£66.6bn) and education (£57.1bn).
Over the past 5 years, most of capitalEsourcing's contract awards have been in business services.
