About the buyer
Norse Group Limited is a local authority trading company wholly owned by Norfolk County Council, and buys through its own procurement team. The procurement function works alongside the estates, facilities management, compliance and design teams. Larger supply contracts are split into regional lots, such as multi-temperature food for establishments in the East of England and the South East.
Sourcing routes include national frameworks, direct awards and bespoke procedures.
Over the past 5 years, most of Norse Group Limited's contract awards have been in construction work, sports, games and art supplies and waste, cleaning and environmental services.
