About the buyer
University of Huddersfield is a higher education institution that buys through its own procurement team. Frameworks are accessed through the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium, or NEUPC. The Higher Education Contracts website is a further route to frameworks. Staff must check existing contracts and frameworks before starting a new procurement.
Some framework contracts require a mini-competition between listed suppliers.
Over the past 5 years, most of University of Huddersfield's contract awards have been in construction work, laboratory and precision equipment and architectural and engineering services.
