About the buyer
Cyngor Gwynedd Council is the local authority for Gwynedd, buying through its own procurement team based in Caernarfon. Tendering documents move through eTenderWales, the council's electronic system for issuing and receiving bids. Framework agreements have replaced approved supplier lists for goods and services bought regularly. A dynamic purchasing system covers contracts for school transport operators. Larger opportunities carry extra requirements under national procurement rules.
Over the past 5 years, most of Cyngor Gwynedd Council's contract awards have been in construction work, architectural and engineering services and construction materials.
